What is Yuzu Early Access?
Yuzu Early Access is a beta release version of the stable Yuzu version. It includes early releases that were released to members who paid and were Patreon members. It automatically installed pre-release early builds and didn’t require you to manually build the files.

Yuzu Early Access was meant for those who were super passionate about emulation and always wanted the latest and greatest releases before anyone else. However, you had to pay a sum of $5/month to be able to access it.

Yuzu Early Access Vs. Yuzu
Yuzu Early Access was simply providing releases earlier to paid members before they were made public. While Yuzu normal releases that you could Download were more stable and available for everyone. Even those who didn’t pay into the Patreon account.
Also known As Yuzu EA, it was known to cause various issues and cause bugs or crashes due to the nature of release as it wasn’t tested on a wider scale before being released.
How Yuzu Early Access Installer Works
Below are the steps outlined on how the Yuzu EA installer worked:
- Step 1: You had to sign up on their Patreon for $5 a month.
- Step 2: You had to have a Yuzu Profile created.
- Step 3: Once you logged onto your Yuzu Profile, you had to link it to your Patreon account.
Once you linked your Patreon account, it gave you a token, this is what allowed you to activate Yuzu EA and get access to early builds.
